Town Hall Meeting Panelist

This was a very interactive Town Hall.  The Panelists and the audience had a lot of fun discussing CMS and XML concerns.

For archive reasons here is the orginal snippet from the broachure.

Web Content Management: The Implementation Experience
Focus: Town Hall Meeting
Presentation Level: High Level/Technical View
Facilitated by: Tony Byrne, Founder, Managing Editor, CMSWatch, United States

Panelists: Lisa Welchman, a longtime independent CMS consultant and founder of WebCMS.org & Travis Wissink, an independent CMS developer and architect who has worked on numerous implementations.

Agenda: To make this more participatory, there will be no presentations, just a facilitated Q & A session designed to help draw out peoples' individual experiences.

Potential Questions for Panelists & Audience:

  • If you had to do your last CMS project all over again, what would you do differently?
  • What are some of the hallmarks of successful CMS projects?
  • In your practical experience, where does XML add the most value to CMS projects? What should "XML compliance" mean when looking at CMS technologies? What is the hardest part about using XML in Web CMS projects?
